This commission required major refurbishment and creation of a prototype bedroom, and corridor, at the famous 4 star Belfry Hotel as a prelude to refurbishing the first phase of 100 bedrooms.

Work was undertaken alongside a major thoroughfare within the hotel, with residents occupying adjacent bedrooms. Care was required to avoid disturbance to both guests and visitors.

Preparation included stripping out all sanitaryware, ceramic wall and floor tiling, removal of boxings, ductwork and soft furnishings.

A new air conditioning unit and external condenser was installed along with new electrical wiring, plumbing and waste pipework. The bathroom was reshaped, new boxings constructed, plastered throughout and high quality ceramic mosaic tiling applied to wall and floor surfaces.

Completion of the finishing works included constructing and installing bespoke joinery items, high quality wallpaper and panelling to walls and finally fitted with soft furmnishings.
