“Lands’ End is a well known clothing retailer which operates from their 240,000 square foot, state of the art distribution centre in Rutland. The company has been in the industry since 1963 and has grown from their origins in Wisconsin, USA to supply most of Europe through their online network.
Quantum Construction worked on the multi million pound extension to their European distribution centre, delivering the project ahead of schedule whilst meeting the detailed environmental challenges imposed by the client.
Adam Osbourne, Facilities Manager for the Lands’ End Company says, “Quantum Construction has provided our company with a successful and efficient service on the extension of our facility. They are always ready and willing to help with any enquiry and we are extremely pleased with the service our company has received.”

A dated main entrance arrangement to the school building was required to be reconfigured in order to create a more accessible arrangement which was more modern and aesthetically pleasing in its appearance and allowed a far greater degree of natural light into the reception area.
The works involved removing the old heavy timber doors and replacing them with two new glazed automatic doors to form a weather proof and secure outer lobby area.
Externally a new canopy, specialist resin gravel paving and sunken feature lighting produced a striking new entrance.
