The project required building an extension to Pik-A-Pak’s existing building in Ipswich.

A portal steel framed building was constructed and connected to the existing structure and enveloped in a composite cladding system.

The ground floor footprint of 950m2 provided a much needed addition to the premises with the space accommodating a combined series of racking and storage units.

The works was challenging due to the limited site available for the building works, which was immediately parallel to a busy thoroughfare.  Careful sequential planning of external activities was required to construct the necessary drainage alterations and retaining wall complete with soft landscaping scheme.
