“Lands’ End is a well known clothing retailer which operates from their 240,000 square foot, state of the art distribution centre in Rutland. The company has been in the industry since 1963 and has grown from their origins in Wisconsin, USA to supply most of Europe through their online network.

Quantum Construction worked on the multi million pound extension to their European distribution centre, delivering the project ahead of schedule whilst meeting the detailed environmental challenges imposed by the client.

Adam Osbourne, Facilities Manager for the Lands’ End Company says, “Quantum Construction has provided our company with a successful and efficient service on the extension of our facility. They are always ready and willing to help with any enquiry and we are extremely pleased with the service our company has received.”

Our Client’s industrial building comprising a warehouse of approximately 60,000 sq. ft. and associated offices of 3,000 sq. ft. required repairs and refurbishment.
Works comprised removing the old asbestos panel roof from the warehouse and replacing with new composite cladding panels.
The offices were refurbished by changing the overall layout then installing new wall, floor and ceiling finishes along with new electrics, ventilation and heating modifications.
Substantial repairs were made externally to both the building fabric and external areas.
