The project comprised the refurbishment of an existing warehouse and office facility to create a new research & development centre with laboratories, offices, production and storage areas.

Works within the warehouse production area included the design and construction of 845m² of bespoke mezzanine floors, construction of a new plating shop facility, salt spray
area, flammable store and new two storey welfare facility.

Mechanical and electrical installations incorporated warehouse heating, installation of process pipework, steam boilers and refurbishing and extending the existing sprinkler
system.

The office refurbishment involved remodelling the front elevation to give a more modern appearance. Alterations to the office layout with new finishes throughout.

Electrical and mechanical installations included, air conditioning and access control, all services being installed within the constraints of the existing structure.

External works included a new concrete service yard, insitu concrete bunded tanks, re-configuration and extension of car parking facility and drainage repairs to the existing drainage
system inclusive of specialist silicate repairs on the deep drainage.
