Testimonials

“Lands’ End is a well known clothing retailer which operates from their 240,000 square foot, state of the art distribution centre in Rutland. The company has been in the industry since 1963 and has grown from their origins in Wisconsin, USA to supply most of Europe through their online network.

Quantum Construction worked on the multi million pound extension to their European distribution centre, delivering the project ahead of schedule whilst meeting the detailed environmental challenges imposed by the client.

Adam Osbourne, Facilities Manager for the Lands’ End Company says, “Quantum Construction has provided our company with a successful and efficient service on the extension of our facility. They are always ready and willing to help with any enquiry and we are extremely pleased with the service our company has received.”

The project involved the creation of 600m² first floor office space which was constructed on top of an existing office structure located within the Client’s production facility.

The works included new jumbo stud perimeter walls to enclose the offices from the production operations. Raised access floors, glazed internal office partitions and new floor
and ceiling finishes were installed.

New windows were installed into the existing external cladded walls, new feature staircase and two fire escape stairs were also incorporated.

All works were undertaken whilst our Client’s normal business operation continued in the office below, and production was maintained in the warehouse area.
