Design and Build project for the construction of six high quality five bedroom houses forming a select residential development in the village of Albrighton, Shropshire.

Sensitive planning control issues required the development to be carefully designed in order to compliment the adjacent properties.

Of particular concern was construction of the private access way which ran under the canopy of mature trees. To resolve the problem the tarmacadam, to the existing private driveway,
was carefully removed and a new road construction using a “Cellweb” system filled with single sized gravel was placed over the formation.

This system of construction had the effect of dissipating imposed traffic loads on the roots of the existing trees, whilst allowing aeration and hydration to occur.

The project also included construction of a private foul water pumping station and associated infrastructure works. All the works were subject to NHBC inspection and approval.
