“Lands’ End is a well known clothing retailer which operates from their 240,000 square foot, state of the art distribution centre in Rutland. The company has been in the industry since 1963 and has grown from their origins in Wisconsin, USA to supply most of Europe through their online network.
Quantum Construction worked on the multi million pound extension to their European distribution centre, delivering the project ahead of schedule whilst meeting the detailed environmental challenges imposed by the client.
Adam Osbourne, Facilities Manager for the Lands’ End Company says, “Quantum Construction has provided our company with a successful and efficient service on the extension of our facility. They are always ready and willing to help with any enquiry and we are extremely pleased with the service our company has received.”

Sited in the heart of the city’s business district QCL were contracted to refurbish an existing 5 storey building into new offices with a high level of finish.
Internally the building was stripped back before the refurbishment was carried out including a full mechanical and electrical installation, raised access flooring, lift replacement.
Existing balustrading was adjusted and adapted to incorporate the new layout whilst retaining its previous style.
Externally the stone and brick facades were repaired and renewed by specialists to compliment the newly installed windows.
With the lack of any external site compound, material deliveries were carefully coordinated whilst site accommodation had to be incorporated within the building.
