Testimonials

“Lands’ End is a well known clothing retailer which operates from their 240,000 square foot, state of the art distribution centre in Rutland. The company has been in the industry since 1963 and has grown from their origins in Wisconsin, USA to supply most of Europe through their online network.

Quantum Construction worked on the multi million pound extension to their European distribution centre, delivering the project ahead of schedule whilst meeting the detailed environmental challenges imposed by the client.

Adam Osbourne, Facilities Manager for the Lands’ End Company says, “Quantum Construction has provided our company with a successful and efficient service on the extension of our facility. They are always ready and willing to help with any enquiry and we are extremely pleased with the service our company has received.”

Major refurbishment of a 3,730M2 (40,150sq.ft) five storey, office block in the heart of Cheltenham to provide a BREEAM accreditation.

The works to the half occupied building are phased to permit continued use by Rickerby Solicitors.

Challenges, apart from maintaining minimum disturbance to the tenants, included extensive replacement of windows and curtain walling to the main structure.

A comprehensive upgrade of mechanical and electrical installations provided for two replacement lifts and external platform lift for DDA compliance.
