“Lands’ End is a well known clothing retailer which operates from their 240,000 square foot, state of the art distribution centre in Rutland. The company has been in the industry since 1963 and has grown from their origins in Wisconsin, USA to supply most of Europe through their online network.
Quantum Construction worked on the multi million pound extension to their European distribution centre, delivering the project ahead of schedule whilst meeting the detailed environmental challenges imposed by the client.
Adam Osbourne, Facilities Manager for the Lands’ End Company says, “Quantum Construction has provided our company with a successful and efficient service on the extension of our facility. They are always ready and willing to help with any enquiry and we are extremely pleased with the service our company has received.”

As part of the major restructuring of their business, Midcounties Cooperative Society required the former Seven Trent Headquarters building to be completely reconfigured and extended.
Additional 1,200m2 (13,000sq.ft) facility was added to the first floor of the steel framed building.
The high specification and quality required under tightly constrained budget set a great challenge to the construction team.
During the cours e of the contract a great deal of mechanical and electrical design changes were requested to be incorporated into the works with the minimum disruption to the programme.
