Testimonials

“Lands’ End is a well known clothing retailer which operates from their 240,000 square foot, state of the art distribution centre in Rutland. The company has been in the industry since 1963 and has grown from their origins in Wisconsin, USA to supply most of Europe through their online network.

Quantum Construction worked on the multi million pound extension to their European distribution centre, delivering the project ahead of schedule whilst meeting the detailed environmental challenges imposed by the client.

Adam Osbourne, Facilities Manager for the Lands’ End Company says, “Quantum Construction has provided our company with a successful and efficient service on the extension of our facility. They are always ready and willing to help with any enquiry and we are extremely pleased with the service our company has received.”

Works undertaken within National Grid’s existing Birmingham facility, immediately adjacent to the River Tame.

The heavily contaminated site was further constrained by two live 900mm diameter gas mains traversing the site close to the works, along with a plethora of other unknown buried
services crossing the site.

Vibration monitoring of driven piles was undertaken as part of the safety process to avoid fracture of the gas mains.

All the works were carried out within close proximity of the client’s own activities without disruption.
