Contract was procured by negotiation with Client utilising his
own Architect and Structural Engineer for the design works.

Quantum Construction Limited acted as Project Manager and
Main Contractor for the works

The project involved the extension of some 929 m2 (10,000
ft2) to an existing warehouse.

The brief required the new works to match the existing
structure utilising the same design and material wherever
possible.

A ‘Hi-Fold’ door was incorporated into the building to provide
a 12 metre width of door. When opened, the door provides a
temporary shelter to facilitate unloading vehicles in inclement
weather.

An existing below ground gas membrane and ventilation
system was extended from the original foundation and
incorporated into the new works.
