The Design & Build project consisted of construction of a bespoke 45,000 sq ft (4,200 sq m) manufacturing facility complete with two storey offices and external amenities.

Due to existing poor ground conditions the site was subject a remediation strategy consisting of extensive ground stabilisation works across the footprint of the building and external hardstanding areas and roadways.

A high quality of design and finish was required to suit the eventual tenant, a leader in precision engineering component design and manufacture in the automobile and aerospace industries.

During the course of the works Quantum were awarded the £1.3 million Cat B works, by the incoming tenant, all of which ran concurrently with the main contract in order to meet the required timescales.
